Assignment #6-Conflict
In the myth the story of Medusa and Athena major conflict. The conflict is propelled by Medusa's attitude. Everywhere she goes, she is always comparing herself to others and believes her looks are superior to everything-including all of the Gods and Goddesses. At the climax of this story Medusa is inside a temple dedicated to me. She dared to say that this temple was wasted on me, and should be for her. Because of her sharp, careless words I became very angry with her. The conflict was between Medusa and myself. Being the goddess of wisdom, I understood why beauty is not always important but Medusa thought otherwise. She treated everyone less than herself and thought she was superior to everyone and everything. You must not challenge the gods, we are very powerful and will teach those a lesson who deserve it. Medusa dared to compare herself to me and very soon regretted it.
