    Attributes Part 2
Since I am goddess of war, wisdom, and weaving I do many things. I have taught mankind several things. The women have learned sewing and weaving, and the men have learned agriculture and metallurgy. I give those who need it advice and wisdom. I protect heros going off to war and their return. My symbols are the spear and shield which I have fastened Medusa's head in front. My tree is the olive tree, which I created, and my sacred animal is the owl, a symbol of wisdom. When Zeus swallowed my mother Metis who was carrying me at the time, he acquired a headache later. Hermes spit his head open and I emerged fully grown in a full suit of armor. I came from Mt. Olympus. I am the patron goddess of Athens and was worshiped there. In many temples there are sacrifices offered. My animal is the owl, so those are one of the perferred sacrifices. I am associated with the post-classical culture. It resurfaced in the middle ages and during the French Revolution. I personified the miracles of freedom and republic. Some of my personality traits are creativity, intelligence, but my flaws are jealousness. My closer friends are Odysseus, Perseus, Heracles, and Nike. My enemies are the Trojans, the Titans, Medusa, and Arachne.
